How to Set Up IPTV on a MAG Box (Step-by-Step Guide)
Setting up IPTV on a MAG Box (MAG 250, 254, 322, etc.) is straightforward. Follow this guide to get started:
1. Get Your IPTV Subscription Details
Before setting up your MAG Box, ensure you have:
✅ Portal URL (from your IPTV provider)
✅ MAC Address (found on the bottom of your MAG Box)
🔹 Provide the MAC address to your IPTV provider so they can activate your subscription.
2. Connect Your MAG Box to the Internet
📡 For Wi-Fi:
- Go to Settings > Network > Wireless (Wi-Fi)
- Select your Wi-Fi and enter the password
🔌 For Ethernet:
- Simply plug in an Ethernet cable for a more stable connection
3. Enter the IPTV Portal URL
1️⃣ Go to Settings > System settings
2️⃣ Select Servers > Portals
3️⃣ In Portal 1 URL, enter the IPTV portal link from your provider
4️⃣ Leave Portal 2 URL empty (or add a second provider if needed)
5️⃣ Click Save
4. Restart Your MAG Box
- After saving, go back to the main menu
- Unplug the power cable, wait 10 seconds, and plug it back in
The MAG Box will now load the IPTV playlist and display live TV channels.
5. Enjoy IPTV on Your MAG Box
- Navigate channels using the remote
- Access TV Guide (EPG) if available
- Some IPTV providers support VOD (Video on Demand) for movies & series
